Account & Data Deletion — Second Drawer Down
Second Drawer Down doesn't maintain its own account system with a central server-side database — your recipes and photos are stored on your own device by default, and if you choose to connect Google Drive, that data lives in your own Google Drive account, not on our servers. Because of this, deleting your account and data is something you're able to do directly, immediately, without waiting on us.
To delete everything
1. Disconnect Google Drive (if connected)
Open the app → Settings → tap "Disconnect Google Drive." This immediately stops any further backup and removes the app's access to your Google account.
2. Delete your recipe data from Google Drive
If you had previously connected Drive, your recipes (and photos, if you chose Google Drive as your photo storage location) are saved in a folder named "Second Drawer Down" in your own Google Drive. You can delete this folder yourself anytime at drive.google.com, the same way you'd delete any other file or folder in your Drive.
3. Delete local data from your device
Uninstalling the app removes all recipes, photos, and settings stored locally on your device.
Data we don't control directly
Because Google Sign-In is Google's own service, your basic Google account itself (name, email, profile photo) is managed by Google, not by us — deleting our app's access does not delete your actual Google account. To manage your Google account itself, visit myaccount.google.com.
